OUR COMPANY
Wagner Industrial Electric, Inc. (WIE) was formed in May 2006 by merging the industrial electric divisions of two long-standing and respected electrical contractors, The Wagner-Smith Company of Dayton, Ohio and Capital Electric Construction Company of Kansas City, Missouri.
Beginning in 1917, The Wagner-Smith Company (WSC) provided electrical construction and maintenance services to commercial, industrial and private customers throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and surrounding states. Capital Electric was founded in 1957 with a product and customer focus similar to that of WSC, concentrating on the market area of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and surrounding Midwest states. With the formation of Wagner Industrial Electric we are better able to service our customer’s needs nationwide.

WIE’s longstanding core group of field supervisors and project managers provide field supervision for projects with manning requirements ranging from 5 to 500+ craftsmen. Management, supervision and manpower are critical to all projects. We are prepared to staff your project with the best in the business.
